Fantastic trainer. I can't say enough good things about Lisa at Northern Tails Dog Training. In a sea of new dog trainers with limited experience in Spokane she stands apart offering years of professional expertise, calm energy, and solutions that don't just teach your dogs tricks but how to be a balanced, calm family member. I will be a forever client and refer all my friends. Because truly she's made such a difference in our dogs lives.

We recently completed the Total Recall training class that Lisa offers at the Colbert location. It was worth every penny and more! Lisa is very knowledgeable and well-versed in reading dogs and making suggestions for how best to motivate them. My husband and I were both a little nervous when she told us to let our dog off leash in a big field (fenced) and go a good ways away and call her. To our amazement, the training homework we had been working on worked! She was off like a shot and bounded through brush and trees to get to us as quick as she could regardless of the trails she could have taken 😂. We’ve taken dog training classes at other locations in Spokane and were not impressed at all. Lisa’s classes are perfect. The hour long class session, as opposed to the 1.5 that some trainers do, was a much better fit for our dog’s attention span. 1 hour 5 weeks in a row, was far more effective than 1.5 hour classes 4 weeks in a row. Couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience! I highly recommend Lisa and Northern Tails dog training. Any future classes we take will definitely be through Northern Tails!
