Melissa took our (very neurotic and poorly trained) Belgian malinois for the board and train program and he can back a totally different dog (in the best way). He had aggressive tendencies as well as a prior bite history and very high anxiety and once he finished the program he’s now far less anxious/neurotic, he listens to his commands, and he is able to be out in public around strangers (which is huge!). I could check in as much as I wanted throughout his stay with her. The continued lessons after the board and train period is over are both crucial and enjoyable. It’s great that these continued lessons are included on the total package price so it’s not additional money needed to keep our dog in tip top shape. I can text her day or night and she always responds promptly and has great advice. She’s also good with people, never makes you feel silly for not knowing how to do something or doing it wrong. She’s happy to show the proper way and remains friendly and approachable while doing it. I look forward to our lessons with her and to continue to help our pup succeed. I’d highly recommend this service to anyone.
Melissa is an absolutely wonderful dog trainer! We gave her our anxious, high energy, stubborn dog, and what she gave us in return was a dog we could actually enjoy! We now have strategies and direction that allow us to have fun with our dog, but more importantly allow him to be more at ease. I highly recommend Melissa and paws from heaven dog training to anyone who needs help with their fur baby!

When my dog first started with Paws from Heaven, she had plenty of training to work on. From pulling on the leash, to becoming overstimulated by cars, dogs, and humans when they passed on walks. Melissa really understands dog behavior and how to teach owners what they should do with each behavior. My dog has come a long way from the beginning of her training because of all the help Melissa gave to us. Ivy wants to say thank you for all the help and we can't wait for more training time with Melissa :)
We are so Lucky to have Melissa come into our lives. Our six-year-old mix has many issues, but she was able to address many of them and he respected her and we were able to learn how to correct some of his issues she even corrected some of the bad habits we were using which just added to his better behavior and ours!
