We took our Bernadoodle puppy Charlie here for puppy training and then for off leash E-collar training. He is a different dog. Charlie was an extremely difficult puppy especially in potty training issues and over the top biting of our older dog and us. Allie was our trainer and taught with loving firmness for both Charlie and us! She is amazing to watch and work with. Communication is strong and her love for the dogs and her work is very apparent. Charlie is well behaved but still very much a puppy and excels at making his own good decisions. What a great difference in his, and our, daily lives together. Thank you to Allie and the Ridgeside team for helping us to be a better family together. Would give 6 ⭐️ if we could.

We had a wonderful experience with the puppy bootcamp program! Julie was our trainer and she was great! I wanted to give it a few weeks to really determine if it was worth it - and I can say it was 100% worth it! Our puppy comes when called, sits, has amazing leash etiquette, and stays on place. Also goes straight into her crate no problems. We also learned A LOT (I especially liked the prong collar knowledge) and I feel very prepared to keep up with training! We decided on this option because we work full time and have a busy home with kids. Totally worth it!

I 1000% reccommend Ridgeside K9 for training! I have a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, resulting in a combination of high intelligence & sassiness. At 11 months old, he was becoming dominant, was nipping, chewing everything, barking excessively and generally was in charge. My training techniques just weren't working. I heard about Ridgeside K9 and set up a time to meet. My biggest hesitation was using the training collar, so I asked if they could put it on my wrist, so I knew what my dog would experience. The feeling was of a vibration, not a harsh zap. I was pleased that there is a sound button that you can use first to alert your dog to change their behavior. You use the zap button only when they aren't responding appropriately. You will be taught to use as little vibration as possible to achieve results. As you and your dog learn to work together something truly amazing happens...you learn to communicate with each other, and the relationship you develop with your dog is amazing! My dog is now 2 years old and we are having so much fun! You need to be willing to put in the time and energy to follow through with the training techiques Ridgeside teaches you, but the relationship you develop with your dog is truly life changing. I have been able to teach my dog to happily use a treadmill when weather is bad, be off lead while readily following commands, and walking is now a joy.
