About Ruff Rules
Training is simple, but it’s not easy, and that’s why our mission is to give guidance to owners everywhere using a results driven and balanced approach since 2013. Everything we do begins with foundation training! While introducing your dog to new commands we know the importance of using primarily positive reinforcement to make sure we are creating confidence, focus, motivation and clear communication. Once you have established your new relationship, we use training collars (e-collars) to test our training in any environment. We find value in applying mental and physical exercise to this process to make sure your dog maintains a relaxed state of mind around distractions. We are about working smarter, not harder!

We had a fantastic experience working with Sydney. She helped Lucy build confidence and focus in different environments, including outdoor walks and even a coffee shop outing. Sydney was patient, knowledgeable, and made the sessions both effective and fun for both me and my pup!

When we decided to add a goldendoodle to our crazy family of five, we knew we would need to train him right so he could be an active member of our busy family. We are always on the go, have friends and family constantly coming in and out of the house, and we love to travel. When we heard about Ruff Rules and the amazing things they do, we knew we had to look into it. I am SO glad we did. Let me just say that we are beyond thrilled with the progress our silly doodle made with Jenna! The communication was amazing throughout the entire process, and while he was missed, we felt comforted knowing he was in a safe and loving space, while also learning how to behave as a new pup in this crazy world. Teddy came home with the same silly and playful doodle personality, but is now making much better decisions when in busy situations. We can’t wait to have endless adventures with our sweet pup, and thanks to Jenna, now we can! Five stars all day.

Thanks to Jenna, my dog has made amazing progress not just in obedience, but also in confidence and overall behavior. Honestly, she is a whole new dog. Our walks are now enjoyable to go on!
