is there any cheaper trainer? 1000 is rediculous.
You wanting to send your dog to them, or is this for you and the dog as a team? Either way good training from an extremely good reputable trainer isn't cheap. There's a big difference between going to Petsmart for dog training and going to a professional. That is not an unreasonable amount for a professional.

I adopted two puppies from the same litter at the same time. Much like having children you forget how hard the early years are especially after a decade of not having little ones. I had severely underestimated how hard it would be with twins and a full time job. I was referred to Ken by a friend and I had my boys go through the two week house manners training. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! They listen, they come to me when called, and when in the house they behave with one word “settle” No more chasing the cat, no more chewing my baseboards I recommend Ken without a hesitation I plan to continue their training as instructed and will be enrolling them for more advanced training in the future!!
Ken has a great operation going and does a fantastic job training both dogs and owners. His system works if you put in the effort to be as disciplined as you want your dog to be.
My border collie has learned so much in the few Saturday classes he's gone to. The trainers Ken has are all so attentive and help with every small thing even you don't see your dog doing. They're all so great.
Ken is amazing. My dog was listening to him and following commands within minutes.
