Stand Proud Dog Training

Brandon was our trainer and I cannot recommend Stand Proud enough! We did in home training sessions for three dogs prior to sending our Maggie to the 2 week board-and-train program at around 1 year old. She was a rescue and had trauma and behavioral issues that needed corrected (of course we give her tons of love too!). We are continuously reaping the benefits of sending her to this program 2+ years later. The 'leave it' command alone is magic. We use the prong collar and e-collar all the time and she is very comfortable (plus she loves putting them on, because it means an adventure). Thank you, Brandon and Danielle! 5 stars I was so nervous to send my dog, Laguna, to Stand Proud K9’s four-week boot camp program, but Brandon and Danielle made me feel so comfortable and their communi action was amazing throughout the entire process. When I got Laguna (“Goonies”) back, she was a completely different dog—less reactive, more confident, and just overall happier! The 1-on-1 sessions and group classes have been incredible, helping me become more confident and comfortable as her owner as well. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Stand Proud K9! You’ve helped us grow so much as a team, and I truly appreciate how you take the time to support not just the dogs but also their owners. We’re a better duo because of ALL of you!

I recently enrolled my Rottweiler in the boarding program at Stand Proud Dog Training, and I am beyond impressed with the results. Before the training, my dog struggled with leash pulling and general manners, making our walks and interactions challenging. However, after just two weeks in their program, the transformation was remarkable. My dog no longer pulls on the leash, and if he ever strays from his training, I've been given the tools and knowledge to correct his behavior effectively. What truly sets Stand Proud Dog Training apart is the comprehensive approach they take. The exercises they provided are not only effective but also easy to implement in our daily routine. One of the most valuable insights I gained was understanding how my own behavior could inadvertently contribute to my dog's issues. Their direction has helped me become a more mindful and effective dog owner. The follow-up one-on-one lessons included after the initial training were invaluable in reinforcing the concepts. These sessions ensured that both my dog and I were on the same page and provided continued support as we transitioned back to our regular routine. Additionally, the facility at Stand Proud Dog Training is top-notch—well-maintained, safe, and structured in a way that promotes a positive environment for the dogs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Stand Proud Dog Training to anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior. Their program is worth every penny, and the lasting impact it has had on my dog's behavior is undeniable. I should also add their communication with me throughout the process was great, they would often text me with updates when i was wondering how he was doing.

Thanks to Stand Proud, it is a miracle we are able to keep Otis! My husband and I unexpectedly got Otis as a 5 month old rescue. Six days after his arrival into our family, he turned into an unruly beast > nonstop hyper-arousal, biting us, throwing tantrums .. and we had no idea how he was with other dogs. Despite my efforts of binge watching and trying to execute teachings on tutorial dog videos and programs, I was having no success (in fact his behavior was getting worse). In the time span of just a few weeks, I was burnt out, exhausted, and honestly, we didn't like our brand-new-to-us puppy. My husband and I had to choose between releasing him to some sort of rescue and investing in a one month board and train with STAND PROUD to help us turn our situation with Otis around. Every day (no joke) we give thanks that we made the decision to invest in STAND PROUD and the spirit/heart we knew was in Otis (under his very unwanted behaviors)!!!!!! Brandon, Danielle, and their team, are ROCK STARS .. like out of this world AH-MAZING!!! Danielle is so kind, positive, and communicative. She held my hand the whole way through (before, during, AND AFTER) the experience. The team of trainers is top notch. I know this because Otis is soooooo excited to see them in our follow up training sessions. ** There is a disclaimer here ... They will not fix your dog. They laid a GREAT FOUNDATION with Otis and now my husband and I have done the follow through of consistency in what STAND PROUD taught him. We understand that if we didn't do our part, that the training would fall apart. We did the included follow up private training, started group classes, and asked A LOT of questions. I AM SO PROUD to say .. that I love my dog and I LOVE his behavior and making the decision to invest in OTIS & STAND PROUD is one of the best decisions we have ever made (my husband said this first). Moving forward, I will use Stand Proud for all my future dogs (unwanted behaviors or not) to lay a great, successful foundation. THANK YOU Stand Proud!
