Chris Carr is an outstanding trainer! His wisdom and experience is clearly evident in the way he cares for the dogs and their owners. Our dog had some behavioral issues that were unable to be corrected by 2 other trainers who honestly gave up on our boy. Chris did an initial assessment and explained exactly what he needed. After working with Chris for a month and maintaining his training techniques at home, he is a new boy! There has been a dynamic change his personality. He is calmer, and listens very well. He is a huge blessing to our family and we are extremely grateful for Chris’ help! I would highly recommend Chris’ training for anyone considering owning a dog.

Could not be more satisfied with the whole 2 week training experience with Stronghaus. From first contact with Chris to picking up my pup and going through the training session at the end I experienced nothing but professionalism and helpfulness. As far as the training it by far went above and beyond my expectations. Chris and his staff are very gifted with training dogs. I would highly recommend them for any training needs. I'm looking forward to using Stronghaus again in future training.

Just picked up my 16 wk old mastador puppy from Chris and before I tell you about this experience I'll give you a backstory about my previous dog.... I bought a cane corso puppy (my all time fav breed) and I finally had one, I got his ears cropped and he was awesome. Everywhere we went it was compliment city. Now, I knew it is a aggressive and stubborn breed but I thought "I grew up with dogs, I know how to train him". I WAS WRONG. At about 2 1/2 yrs, "frank" started to change and became extremely aggressive, biting people, attacking other dogs and even attacking me and my four yr old son. At that point frank had to go. It's your kid or your cool dog, no brainer. Dropping him off at the shelter was the most difficult thing I ever had to do, knowing that with his history and menacing look they would immediately put him down. I failed him, do not make the same mistake I made, GET YOUR DOG A REAL TRAINER.- fast forward years later, I got a mastador puppy and I promised myself and my family we wouldn't make the same mistake. Chris had our dog for 2 weeks and we were extremely impressed with the results, his professionalism, and the setting that the dogs are trained in (farm with horses, goats, etc ). The price is the price and in my opinion worth every penny, but it's incumbent upon us as a family to continue to do the work and routine that Chris started for us. 5 stars - highly recommended!

Just picked up my puppy embiid today. Hes a 4 month old australian shepherd. At first i was nervous that he was maybe too young...boy was i wrong. Chris is the most genuine guy possible and im more that happy I sent embiid there. Im absolutely amazed in the control and respect between my dog and i, and also other people. I cant get over how good he is. 2 weeks felt very long, but it was worth every minute.
