My puppy is 7 months. Well socialized but does not listen to any commands. Can you help?
Tails Up basic obedience is great

You would really want to sign up for the beginning obedience class at the Tails Up Dog Training. This is an essential class for the dog to learn all basic obedience commands. The class is eight weeks long and it's much needed for both - the dog and the owner. It helped us a lot! As far as I know, the beginning obedience classes are filled up pretty quickly, so you may want to call their office to check for the available start dates or put your name on the waiting list.

Do you offer classes for training therapy dogs? Dante is signed up for the Canine Good Citizen class coming up this Thursday. I am hopeful that he passes that so I am looking for training for therapy dogs. Thank you.
The Tails Up Dog Training does offer therapy dogs classes. You will have to check with the staff to see when the next class is scheduled. Have fun with Dante in the CGC class!

I've only been in one beginner obedience class so far, but I have been to and used many training facilities and trainers over the years. I can tell I am going to be very happy with the class. Due to COVID-19, class sizes are smaller than usual. I can't say I would be as happy with it if they were running a full sized class. The number of dogs and distance we're able to maintain now seems appropriate. More dogs makes me think the experience would be much less positive with only one trainer and the noise that comes with more dogs and people. I expect hearing even without masks in this facility can often be an issue. I would most likely deduct stars under those conditions. I'm excited for the class and to really see how Tails Up functions, as I expect to have my puppy in training for years before he's exactly what I want.
This place seems to have their act together. I am having a hard time hearing them during the training sessions, but I feel like they are passionate and caring trainers who care about good pet ownership.
