The Dog Wizard Charlotte

$5,000 for 6 lessons? Absolute predatory pricing. I reached out to this facility for help with specific reactivity training and was quoted $5,000 for a package of 6 lessons at the facility and "6 months of unlimited training" if needed. Those unlimited training sessions could be in person or just a phone call by the way. Think warranty scam, exact same play. This isn't dog training; it’s a high-pressure sales trap. Most reputable, independent trainers charge a fraction of this for real-world, one-on-one work. Absolute thieves.

We sent our 7-month-old puppy, Pippa, to The Dog Wizard for their 3-week program and the transformation was incredible. She came home with real manners, so much more confidence, and the ability to be reliably off-leash — something we never imagined a dog of hours could do! They don’t just train the dog… they train the humans too! They taught us how to communicate with her, how to reinforce what she learned, and how not to accidentally undo all the foundational work. If you’re on the fence, do it. The Dog Wizard gave us the tools and training we needed, and Pippa is truly an amazing dog because of them.

The Charlotte Dog Wizard is absolutely amazing! They did an incredible job helping train our dog, Ollie, and worked wonders with his anxiety. The difference in his confidence and behavior has been night and day. He’s calmer, happier, and so much easier to handle at home and out in public. We were also really impressed with the time he spent at their farm. It gave him space to relax, learn, and build confidence in a comfortable, structured environment. The trainers truly care and treat every dog like their own. On top of that, my daughter interned there over the summer, and it was an incredibly positive experience for her. She learned so much about dog behavior, training, and responsibility, and came away with a real appreciation for the work they do. I can’t thank the Charlotte Dog Wizard team enough. They went above and beyond for both Ollie and our family. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, lasting results and a team that truly loves what they do!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We cannot thank Amber and the entire Charlotte Dog Wizard team enough for the absolute miracle they worked with our sweet rescue, King. During his sleepaway camp, King learned to greet humans politely with all four paws on the ground, walk beautifully on a leash with a healthy heel, and even let his big brother Kanye lead the way. Best of all, he no longer barks for no reason! This is the third dog we’ve trusted with Charlotte Dog Wizard, and every time the results have been outstanding. Even though we now live in Raleigh, we’ll happily make the trip back to Charlotte for any future dogs—because they are simply the best in the business. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a happier, calmer, and better-mannered pup!
