Bri and the team at Dog Wizard have been wonderful helping me make good citizens of my rambunctious rescue pups, Murphy and Chance. After a two week in-house training camp for each of them, Bri made sure I was equipped with the tools and knowledge to reinforce their lessons. Ongoing support classes/availability is a great reassurance for me and was the determining factor for me selecting them. My boys get lots of compliments from other dog parents at the dog park and fellow diners at dog-friendly restaurants. I would highly recommend Dog Wizard and am happy to be their client.

We brought our 7 month old English black lab for the jump start program. He was always a sweet dog, just no manners. Lots of jumping, pulling on the leash (which at 72 lbs almost took me out), and chewing. We have 3 kids under 5 so trying to train him ourselves was super difficult. Patrick was our trainer and he was amazing. He sent tons of pictures and videos during his stay to let us know he was progressing well and having a good time. When he came home, he was a different dog! He no longer pulls, will sit in place while we eat and cook, is no longer chewing on things and is generally just a better behaved dog. We are so grateful for this experience and we can’t wait to continue his learning in the support class! Thanks you for everything Patrick!

Our reactive dog Olivia attended one-on-one training sessions 2x weekly with Kat who did the heavy lifting by day, then trained us, Olivia’s humans, on what she & Olivia had spent the day working on. Olivia is proficient at sit, down, heel, & place. We (Olivia’s humans) are still a work in progress on handling some of the reactivity while out on walks, but we can actually take Olivia on a walk now without feeling dragged thru the neighborhood. She walks at our pace! We will continue Olivia’s training by attending Saturday sessions put on by The Dog Wizard & continue developing our handling skills so Olivia can live her best life. We highly recommend The Dog Wizard & Kat for anyone who is frustrated & feels like they have no control over their dog’s behavior & would like to improve how their dog interacts with them & the world.

From the very first conversation, the Dog Wizard team took the time to sit down with us, truly listen to our goals for our pup, and share their honest professional insights on what would work best. We were immediately impressed by their knowledge and care. We were lucky enough to work with trainer Kat, and she was simply amazing! She sent us daily pictures, videos, and updates so we never felt out of the loop — it made the two weeks so much easier knowing our buddy was in such loving, capable hands. When we picked him up, Kat sat down with us for a thorough, hands-on session showing every command, technique, and exactly what we needed to do to keep the progress going at home. Her patience and clear explanations made everything feel achievable. The entire Dog Wizard team (especially Kat!) genuinely cares about the animals — you can feel it the moment you walk through the door. We couldn’t be happier with the results and the whole experience. Highly, highly recommend — worth every penny! 🐾✨

We brought our 4-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd, Vinnie, for the two week program. Before training, we had difficulty dealing with his reactivity to his surroundings. Since he’s already an adult, we were worried he might be difficult to train, but Briauna did an amazing job with him. Vinnie is now doing incredibly well with all of his training, both inside and outside the house, and we’re happy to be able to walk him in places where he would have previously been reactive. We’re so grateful for all the time, effort, and care Briauna and the staff invested in Vinnie. They took such great care of him, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
