The K9 Encounter

I followed TheK9Encounter for about 2 months after seeing them working on Jax beach and loved what I saw. I finally signed up for their group lessons and have been having a blast ever since! All different breeds, temperaments, and skill levels all in one place that quickly creates a great community! I look forward to every train session where we all get some good laughs. The best part is that you are having fun and never feel like you are “the new guy”. Rob and Katlyn’s attitude are top notch and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. Recommend anyone looking for a great time with your dog, I highly recommend TheK9Encounter!!

BEST THING WE EVER CHOSE FOR OUR MALINOIS!!!! Rob is an amazing, talented and regimented trainer and his apprentice Cory is great as well!!! Rob listens and cares about your dog and you and is able to cater his training to meet whatever needs you and your dog have! We chose a combination of weekly one on one training and group classes. Definitely would and DO recommend him to anyone looking for training, especially with high energy working dogs like Mals!!

Rob is FANTASTIC. Could not recommend him more highly. When I brought my dog to him, my dog knew absolutely nothing, no commands, could not walk on a leash, and he was a typical snappy maligator. Just after the first session, he was already walking so well on a leash. Within a few sessions he had all his commands down, and within a month he was a completely different dog. We love going to the group sessions every week, I don’t know what we would’ve done without K9 encounter

Rob has been an absolute miracle worker! I was looking for a trainer for my Mini Aussie who struggled with fear aggression towards unfamiliar people. He has a bite history and I was so lost on how to help him. I saw an immediate change in my dog after my first private session with Rob. We’ve taken a few group classes as well where Rob is extremely intentional about creating real life scenarios and how to train your dog through them. I’ve actually had a lot of fun at the group classes and they have continued to improve my dog’s confidence. I now have no anxiety about taking my dog in public places or having guests over because I know how to handle him and work through his fear aggression. I am moving and won’t be able to continue my training with Rob, but I would recommend him to anyone and doubt I will find a trainer in my new city who is as good as him!
