FirstBarkService is professional and personable from the first interaction to the last. Their approach to training is non-punitive and yet very effective. They were always available to answer questions and help us problem solve and were as supportive of us as they were of the dog. This training set us on the right path and we will definitely be returning for refreshers and other training.

Founded in 2016 under the name Two Dads and a Dog, our company offered walks and pet sitting. Since our services evolved to only offer dog training advice and behavior consultations, we proudly serve our communities as Two Dads Dog Training. We not only promote proactive and healthy human-dog relationships but facilitate skills for helping teams understand each other for a harmonious life in a household. what does it cost for home training and do you do this,
Hi Joseph. After discussing the particular details about your dog's needs, an initial 90-min private session can be had at your home for around $240. Additional sessions, as needed, can go from $100-$150 an hour. We can work on a package depending on the case.

Being a first time new puppy mom, you could imagine how many questions I had about taking the best care of my pup and making sure he was getting training. I called Two Dads and a Dog just to get some basic info on what services they provide and to check their prices. I spoke with Michael and not only did he explain their services and prices (which are great!) he spoke with me for almost 45 minutes answering all of my puppy related questions! Michael came to my house once a week to train my little 8 week old Morkie, Geno. I can not say enough about how great the experience was. Michael was knowledgeable, professional, easy going, and flexible. In addition to the training, he always took the time to address any issues that we were seeing from week to week and Geno absolutely adored him! He definitely misses his weekly visits! I will absolutely use Two Dads and a Dog again in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

We recently used Two Dads and a Dog for dog training. Mike helped us work with our (at the time) 8 month old silver lab. Apollo loved to work with Mike and Mike was incredibly patient with Apollo. Mike helped us not only train Apollo, but also helped us understand the logic behind certain training tools. Mike went above and beyond our expectations. We had several training session left when the Stay At Home order went into effect. Instead of calling it a bust, Mike utilized FaceTime and virtually trained Apollo. Sessions included specific goals for Apollo as well as for us as owners. He even went as far as introducing us equipment that would help Apollo strive, such as collars and harnesses to assist with no-pull walking. You can tell how much dogs mean to Mike. The happiness of dogs was his upmost concern. Anytime Apollo would get frustrated, he would take a step back from training to get back to a happy pup. We would 100% recommend using the training services!! We can't thank Mike enough for a much better behaved pup!
Loki loves his visits with Michael! This team of passionate dog care owners are detailed, keep you up-to-date with your pet, communication is always available, and overall just great people-highly recommended and trust them completely with my Staffie!
