He helped us get an energetic 6 month lab puppy and a nervous and cranky 9 yr old Morkie to behave so much better individually and together. He helped us to restore peace in our household and to see there was much hope for change and that Mommy could relax and be less stressful 😉. Stephen is so friendly and helpful. He has a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of dogs and training and is responsive to questions and concerns. And we got to meet his 3 wonderful dogs whose lives he saved with training and love. I’m so glad that I decided to work with VGDT. I went through the program with my parents’ dog Ruby in April. I tried to piece together what I knew from past dogs and what I learned briefly with Ruby but I needed Stephen’s support. It was a life changing decision I adopted a two year old Australian shepherd, Daisy, who is very attached to me. Stephen showed me that both me and my dog were attached to each other and that it will be okay to be apart. We both gained confidence and are so much happier. I am able to confidently bring Daisy with me to the barn and other locations knowing that she will follow commands and be safe. I’m no longer nervous about leaving her because I know that she will be okay. Because of VGDT I am able to do more with Daisy. This is the first step in our life together and I can’t wait to see what happens for us! We can’t thank Stephen enough and we’re excited to see everyone in the spring.
