K9 Sensei offers Dog Training & Boarding facilities in Bryan, TX by using balanced training techniques to make man’s best friend also a well-balanced friend. We use a positive “yes” and a fair “no” to help a dog understand what we expect from him. K9 Sensei creates a positive, loving atmosphere to help your dog reach his full potential. By engaging a dog’s intellect, we begin positively reinforcing good actions while setting boundaries and parameters around their behavior. This process of discipline and learning helps build the unbreakable bond between you and your dog. Mindful Training is a dog training service based around teaching the pet parents how to be a mindful dog trainer for their own dog. We teach you basic obedience, troubleshoot any difficult behaviors, and practice with you all along the way. We also include daily training notes so you can refer back to our sessions at any point. We begin our service with a consultation at your residence (or remotely via webcam). The consult usually lasts 30min-1hr. The consult is used to discuss your goals, concerns, and answer all of your training and behavior questions. We then briefly discuss our modality, "how" we train. Lastly we discuss our logistics of service. If you decide our service is appropriate for you we can schedule a training session.

Nancy Williams is an Associate Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist and a Registered Veterinary Nurse. She works with all types of dog and cat problems, with a specialty in effective treatment of aggressive behavior and anxiety using effective methods focused on kind handling and treatment Ms. Williams regularly collaborates with veterinarians to develop a humane approach to animal training. Ms. Williams was on the team evaluated and rehabilitated the Michael Vick dogs. A "Team Approach" is applied while working the owner, the pet and their veterinarian, with an emphasis of respect for the pet and the owner!
